Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn is a historic and one of the longest continuously operating knife manufacturers based in Solingen, Germany, known as the "City of Blades." The company, which traces its ancestry back to 1623, is famous for its high-quality cutlery, including kitchen knives, pocket knives, and razors.

Offered here is a FRIEDR.HERDER ABR.SOHN Solingen, Germany folding wood handle pocket knife. The blade is clearly marked "FRIEDR.HERDER ABR.SOHN / SOLINGEN GERMANY" with a spade. The blade shows heavy sharpening over a long period and displays an even dark patina. The approximate measurements are 8.25" fully open and 4.5” closed.

This is in good condition with smooth wood grips. It opens easily and closes with a snap.   [jet][ph:L]
