Grip is silver that has been die cast to resemble silver wire. Ern pommel is retained by a capsten rivet inside. Blade is very good to excellent with strong etch, great frost and most of its original policy. Blade has some minor staining on reverse side Obverse blade has proof marks S in shield and oval with Crown B / fan foliate - stand of arms / foliate - stand of arms / eagle - foliate - EPU ribbon - foliate. Reverse blade etch fan foliate - stand of arms / foliate - US - foliate / stand of arms - foliate. Brass scabbard has remnants of gilt and wide mounts in the French style with hands holding the carry rings. Upper mount has two rings and middle mount has one.
