A good example of the wavy bladed dagger closely associated with Javanese culture, likely nineteenth century. The blade is long and thin, clearly a thrusting weapon, steel gray with darkening, but with multiple curves to the edge and still showing an interesting watery Damascus like patterning or Pamor. The blade is deeply inlet as the blade widens near the base. The grip, cream colored bone with some brown stains, is small by comparison, worn smooth, but showing some carved decoration between the middle and lower bands. The blade has a short nick near the top of one of the curves. Blade is 14 ½” in length. No scabbard. Please see our photos. [sr][ph:L]
