Offered here is the lock plate and hammer for Snider-Enfield rifle. Lock plate is marked with only the large crown behind the hammer. Stamped “TOWER / 1873” in front of the hammer.
The sear, bridle, and tumbler remain in place on the back side. All parts move freely.
Light surface corrosion on face of lock plate, otherwise in fine condition. [jet][ph:L]
