Model of 1865 complete with Stabler cut-off. Serial number 9347. Top of the barrel, near breech marked, “MODEL 1865” and top of receiver marked “SPENCER REPEATING / RIFLE CO. BOSTON, MASS / PATD MARCH 6, 1860.” Some parts marked with single letter inspection marks. Bore has strong rifling, clear with light patches of oxidation. Sling swivel on the underside of the butt stock is broken off.
Very good condition with all gun metal wearing an even and very dark patina. The wood stock is in good condition with some minor wear. No cartouches. Mechanically perfect! [jet] [ph:L]
