This wiper was probably for some foreign musket.  Wipers were screwed to ramrods to hold a patch or wad of tow to clean the gun barrel.  This pattern is unusual as it has a male threaded end like the U.S. M1847 musketoon wiper.  Double “cork screw” design that tapers.  Approximately 2” long and .54” in diameter.   [jet]
