.69 CALIBER “HALL CARBINE” CARTRIDGE

$150.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 490-4354

Regulation tan paper cartridge containing a standard 0.64” round musket ball. This has been identified as being for the Hall carbine or possibly for converted .69 caliber pistols because its powder charge is less than that required for muskets.

Known as the "regulation" or "American military" style of cartridge, i.e., powder charge and bullet wrapped completely in paper, tied with string over the nose of the bullet, with the powder end being closed with folds to form a tail. A typical feature of these cartridges is the red and white string used.

Cartridge remains in very good condition.   [jet] [ph:jet]
