Cleaning Jags are a serrated appendage that is threaded to attach a ramrod. Used with a wad of tow or a cleaning patch to clean musket bores.

This specimen is for the Model 1841 Swiss Federal Rifle. Serrated edges, slot near base, and threaded through base. Excellent condition.
