Offered here is a very early gang mold for buckshot.
Made of brass and measuring 4.5" long with the old turned wood handles attached. Hinged at one end with a very slightly tapered channel on top to funnel lead into the cavities. The three cavities on measure approximately 0.29".
Cavities remain clean and crisp. Brass has bright color with only a few of the usual nicks on the outer surfaces from knocking the balls out of the mold. Stamped "188".
