“EAGLE” POWDER FLASK FOR REVOLVERS

$185.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 490-5246

This small flask is for the Colt pocket model or similar revolvers. Constructed with a copper body and brass top and spout. Measures approximately 4.5” tall x 2” at widest point.

Both sides feature the American eagle with shield, arrows, and olive branch, with thirteen stars and with the rays of the rising sun coming from behind.  A pair of crossed revolvers are under the eagle and under them a curved ribbon reading “E PLURIBUS UNUM” follows the bottom curve of the flask.

Both faces show some small dents but nothing major. The spring on top is gone and portions of the seams on both sides have separated. The flask is priced accordingly and will still display very well with a 1849 pocket model or go well in a cased set.  [jet] [ph:L]
