Cartridge for .44 caliber Army revolver made by Hazard Powder Company. These were made under the three Doremus & Budd patents of 1862, using a molded powder cake glued to the bullet and then covered with collodion.
This cartridge remains in near perfect condition with only one crack in the collodion coating. [jet] [ph:JET]
