Offered here is an early and interesting shot cartridge. 16-gauge cartridge with powder and shot contained in an outer paper wrapper. Cloth tear strips provide access to the cartridge. An orange label on the bottom reads, “16 / Gauge / Bottom”. Although not named, these is very similar to the “Eley London” cartridge labels.
Cartridge measures approx. 2.4” overall. Solid and in fine condition. [jet][ph:jet]
