Fabricated by Ludlow Brothers of Birmingham, England.
Accompanying the original cartridge in the 8 ¼” x 12 ¼” riker display case is a color copy of the label used to wrap a pack of ten Enfield cartridges and a descriptive label. The Ludlow packs were printed in red ink. This cartridge came out of this 1864-dated pack. Cartridge is in fair to good condition, showing some wear and repairs.
