Here is an original Civil War era tin for pistol-sized percussion caps made by Eley Brothers of London. This is the taller (1.4” tall) 250 count size tin. The tin remains in very good condition and appears like it was painted black with only minor scratching to the finish. Tin is empty.

Raised brass label on the lid is in good condition. The label reads, “PANTEES LONDON / [English crest with lions] / ELEYS / DOUBLE WATERPROOF / PERCUSSION CAPS”.

A good accessory for a revolver and especially for a cased set.  [jet][ph:L]
