This mold is an iron scissor type mold with sprue cutters formed into the handles. Heavy construction and measures 7.5” long.

Mold casts a cylindrical bullet approximately .41” x 1” with round nose and solid, flat bottom. Cavity has a few small dings and a small space has been opened up at the nose end.

Likely and mold for rifles like the 1880 Sharps rifle that used a paper patched cylindrical bullet. Interesting mold.  [jet][ph:L]
