Iron, two cavity bullet mold casts “old model” bullets for the .44 caliber Army revolvers.
It casts one round ball and one “old model” elongated bullet. The OM bullets are taller than the “new Model” bullets of similar profile that replaced them. Sprue cutter is attached to the top at the hinge pin but is unmarked. Cavities remain clean. There are small patches of light surface rust scattered overall.
A fine example of the older pattern .44 caliber bullet mold. [jet][ph:L]
