Excellent flat top cartridge for the .44 Henry and M1866 Winchester rifles or the Colt, Remington, and Smith & Wesson revolvers. This particular cartridge was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company in the 1880s. One groove bullet, copper case with headstamp of an impressed "H".
The Winchester Repeating Arms Company was in New Haven, CT. Incorporated in 1866.
