Iron scissor-type mold to cast a lead round ball for old muskets. Single cavity mold with spout and a sprue cutter in handle. Cavity measures approximately 0.785”. The number “10” is stamped in handle which means “10 balls to the pound” which equates to approximately .73-.75 caliber.
This diameter bullet would be used in something like a .80 caliber smoothbore military musket. Bullet cavity is fine with no scratches or dings. Mold is in very good overall condition. [jet][ph:L]
