Cylindrical japanned-tin container filled with ten roles of Maynard tape primers. Container is in great shape with only the most minor of scratches in the brown finish. Closed with lid. Pasted to the top of the lid is an original and complete paper label. Printed in red ink is “500 MAYNARD’S PRIMERS. / FRANKFORD ARSENAL / MAY. / 1859.”
