This is the sergeant’s combination musket tool for the Pattern 1853 Enfield. The tool is made up of several parts combined in the shape of a “T”. The body of the tool measures nearly 4 ¾” long. A ball screw and a pointy “drift” are fitted in the ends. Located along the body was a cone pick on one side and a main spring clamp on the other. The cross arm has a screw driver blade on one end and is threaded on the other holding a wiper. A small “broad arrow” is stamped on the wiper. Some minor scattered surface pitting, otherwise is very good condition.
A great accessory for the Enfield rifle. [jet][ph:L]
