Excavated general service eagle button in good condition. Cuff size (15mm) with bent shank. Smooth brown/green patina. No backmark. Recovered from the Excelsior field area.

From the collection of Ron Miller, brother of noted Gettysburg relic hunter Ed Miller. Ron was born in Gettysburg and was a teacher by profession. He walked and hunted the surrounding farm fields his entire life in search of relics. He was a member of the Adams County Historical Society and the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania. [jet] [ph:L]
