Ornate bar at top with Grand Army of the Republic seal at center surrounded by "GETTYSBURG June 1913." Pin present on back.
Suspended from this bar is a red ribbon that has faded just a bit. Ribbon is approx. 1.00 inch long with bar at bottom that reads "REPRESENTATIVE." Below the bar hangs a circular drop.
The obverse has a bust engraving of a man and reads around the edges "THOMAS H. COLE COMMANDER." Reverse reads "47TH ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT DEPT. OF PENNA. GAR, GETTYSBURG, JUNE 1913.” [ad] [ph:L]
