Stereo card with images of an amputation in progress. Recorded at Camp Letterman General Hospital which was located just east of the town of Gettysburg. Patient on the table with doctors and on-lookers in the frame. One man on crutches. Bottles and a surgical kit visible. Image is slightly light.
Plain yellow mount. Faded ink notation on back, “Amputation Scene”.
