This small handbook was given to incoming students of Gettysburg College in 1937.
The book meas. approx. 3.00 x 4.75 inches. It has blue cloth covers with and orange “G” and “1937” and Gettysburg College seal on the front.
Just inside the front cover is a fold-out illustrated map of the Gettysburg College campus as it appeared in 1937. The book runs 195 pages and has a message from the college President, the Dean and Director. Other contents are Freshman, The College, Senior Sponsors, Extra Curricular activities, Who’s Who on the Campus, Organizations, Social, Songs and Cheers, Religious and advertisements from local business. Many of the buildings are also pictured.
This little booklet is in good condition with the only drawback being the front signature is weak but holding. [ad] [PH:L]
