The full title of this volume is “GETTYSBURG NATIONAL MILITARY PARK COMMISSION ANNUAL REPORTS TO THE SECRETARY OF WAR 1893-1901.” The book was published by the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. in 1902.
Book is hardcover with blue cloth boards that have an embossed linear decoration. Spine has title embossed in gold. Light wear on edges and corners of covers. Interior is tightly bound.
Volume meas. 6.00 x 9.00 inches with text that runs approx. 56 pages followed by approx. 150 full page black and white photographs of the battlefield. Many show the battlefield avenues with wonderful views of the surround terrain.
Volume is solid. Front has a period presentation from the War Department to a William L. Clayton. [ad] [PH:L]
