Little Round Top photograph of large group of veterans posing on Little Round Top. Albumen image is by Jas. H. Titus. Image is 9.25” x 7” on slightly larger cardboard mount. One specific veteran is identified with a “X” over his head. “Reginald Heber Disbrow on the Battlefield of Gettysburg” written in ink along the bottom edge. One corner of mount chipped away. A Titus label is stamped on the back.
Disbrow was a Private in the 37th for 30 days during the Gettysburg “emergency.” The 37th New York was engaged slightly at Sporting Hill, PA and at Carlisle, PA. The regiment did suffer a few casualties in these encounters. [jet] [ph:L]
