Shot is of the monument to the 72nd Pennsylvania which stands in the area known as “The Angle” on Cemetery Ridge. Visible along the left side of the view is the famous stonewall behind which the Union forces took cover. Also visible in the background is the monument to the 71ST Pennsylvania which sits in the actual angle of the stonewall in the background. The old, now gone, Webb Avenue is also visible.
Two men are pictured in the foreground one of which wears a dark kepi and military vest with dark coat and trousers.
