The seal of Adams County in green ink appears on one side along with an explanation that this is a "Unique Souvenir of the Adams County Sesqui-Centennial and that the bearer can turn this wooden nickel in at any Adams County Bank or use it in any Adams County" store but it must be unbroken to get your nickel.
