This circular paper label meas. approx. 2.25 inches across and reads “BRASS AND WOOD CLOCKS – WATCHES OF ALL KINDS REPAIRED AND WARRANTED. JOSEPH MATHIAS CLOCK AND WATCH MAKER GETTYSBURG, PA.”

Label is in nice condition with minor surface dirt and light wear.

Joseph Mathias died at age 36 in Gettysburg on September 6, 1846 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. [ad] [ph:L]
