Excavated Confederate combination musket tool. Hand forged iron tool manufactured at Richmond. Constructed of one 3 ½” long arm with a box-end wrench on the end. A second piece, about 3” long with a screw driver blade at each end is riveted to the bottom of the first.
In “dug” condition and rusty overall, it has been coated. Recovered on Little Round Top, Gettysburg by Dean Thomas.
A very nice example of a Confederate combination musket tool from a prime Gettysburg location. [jet] [ph:L]
