Here we have an interesting miniature Gettysburg souvenir which appeals to knife collectors as well.
This small metal pocket knife measures a mere 1.5 inches in length and is just over a quarter of an inch at its widest point. It reads “Gettysburg” across the front and is adorned with some flowers. On the reverse is a view of the Pennsylvania Monument with a cannon beneath it. The words “Pennsylvania State Monument” can be read on the curves of each end.
Yes, this small pocket knife is in working order. The knife comes out with some extra coaxing, so be careful when opening and closing it. There is some wear to the blade as well as some minor tarnishing. A maker’s mark on the base of the blade reads “Arrow Co., Germany.” Otherwise, this small souvenir is in good condition. [cla] [ph:L]
