Gettysburg Tennessee Monument souvenir. Unusual souvenir created by the Tennessee Monument Commission during construction of the monument. The paper label states “The artifact is made from the concrete for the construction of the Tennessee monument foundation at the National Military Park, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania October 2, 1981. To be dedicated July 3, 1982”. The label includes a photo from the groundbreaking ceremony. The concrete artifact stands 2.75” high and 3.375” in diameter at bottom of base. The top has a hole designed for placing the included Tennessee State or US flags. The TN flag has a few areas of missing fabric. [DM][ph:L]
