This colorful travel brochure was printed in 1929 by Marken & Bielfeld of Frederick, MD.
Unfolded size is 16” x 18”. Folded in half horizontally, and then in quarters vertically, the final “rack size” is 4” x 9”. The inside spread features photographs of key portions of the battlefield. One half of the opposite side has a map of the eastern U.S. pinpointing Gettysburg, with the remainder using fine color printing for that time to sell the travel idea. Color remains bright, no damage.
An unusual Gettysburg travel brochure. [jet][ph:L]
