Presented is a 1913 original two-piece medal presented to the New York Civil War veterans attending the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Brooch shows the greeting of two veterans, while the drop medal features profiles of Meade and Lee.
1 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" long. Manufactured by Whitehead and Hoag, with a manufacturer’s stamp on the obverse of the drop.
