Housed in an attractive matted Riker box display, this relic grouping features a small piece of original wood (1 ¾” x 1 7/8” x 3/8”} from a tree located on Culp’s Hill on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Culp’s Hill was one of the most important parts of the Union defense at Gettysburg and saw heavy fighting throughout the three days of the battle. Also in the display is an original 3-ringer bullet recovered in the same area. Included in the display is a copy of a depiction of a CS attack on Culp’s Hill. On the reverse of the box is affixed a certificate of authenticity from another relic dealer, attesting that the bullet was recovered prior to the date that it became illegal to relic hunt on the battlefield.
