This small patriotic ribbon measures approximately four inches in length by one inch across. The celluloid badge portion features a drawing of soldiers shaking hands in front of a cannon, set against a backdrop of tents. The red, white, and blue ribbon reads “60th Anniversary / July 3 & 4 1923. / Gettysburg, PA.”
Overall, this ribbon is in fair condition. While the badge itself is in good condition, with the stick pin firmly attached and the celluloid clean and intact, the ribbon’s edges are frayed. Proper storage should keep it from further deterioration. [cla][ph:L]
