This is a wood shadow box with glass front measuring 8” x 11” x 3”. Mounted inside are various relics, photos, and old typed labels.

At the top is a chunk of wood wired to a typed label stating it was from the Brig Niagara which served as Oliver Hazard Perry's relief flagship during the American victory at the Battle of Lake Erie on September 10, 1813. There are also three old photographs of the Niagara.

Additionally, five Civil War bullets are wired to the back board and several artillery shell fragments. A separate typed note reads, “Bullets and shrapnel found on Culp hill scene of second day fighting at Gettysburg, Pa. July 2, 1863. Found on Wm. Spencer farm 1870-1875.”

Nice box of old relics.  [jet][ph:L]
