Maker-mark (on bell): Eagle motif / Aman / Official Bugle / Made in U.S.A. / Star. Standard issue dimensions: 17” in length w/ mouthpiece, 4.375” bell, w/two gromet attachment, plus original strap (broken). Exhibits slight wear overall, and slight bend to tube section leading to mouthpiece. Also chipping of silver painted mouth.
Due to a shortage of brass during WWII, these plastic horns were made of plastic Tenite and developed by the Kodak Company and manufactured by the Aman company.
Extreme scarce, these olive green M1892 bugles a fine WWII collectible. This one is also is playable. [jp][ph:L]
