This large iron roller buckle meas. approx. 3.25 x by 1.75 inches and has a japanned surface. The tongue is substantial as is the roller. Tongue moves freely and roller spins. Approx. 80% of the japanning remains on the surfaces. Where it is missing there is some very light surface rust.
These buckles were meant for use on the US Navy waist belt and were japanned to keep off rust.
