This US shoulder belt plate was affixed to the front of the shoulder belt for the infantry cartridge box. It features the spread-winged eagle design. Brass face has beautiful mellow patina. Complete lead fill on reverse with iron loops. Numerous small dings in the lead which partially obscure the “H.A. DINGEE” maker’s mark in the center. Overall, this plate is in very good condition.   [jet]
