Civil War era non-commissioned officers belt buckle. Cast brass eagle buckle which has a one-piece applied German silver wreath. The brass buckle has a dark patina. This has the narrow ½ inch wide hook on back. Bench mark “798” on plate only; keeper is unnumbered. Measures 55mm tall. The detail of the eagle remains very good.
