This U.S. cartridge box plate was affixed to the front flap of the infantry cartridge box. It features the central “US”. There are a few very small dings on the brass face. Brass remains bright with much original finish remaining. Complete lead fill in reverse with perfect iron wire loops.
A very attractive cartridge box plate in excellent condition. [jet][ph:L]
