Offered is this Civil War era officer’s belt plate. The piece is cast brass with applied German Silver wreath and an overall duskier patina. This has a bench mark “413” on the tongue of the plate. No keeper. The details on the face show only light wear. Sun rays are only between the eagle’s wings at top and stippled background elsewhere.  Dimensions are just under 2.1” x just under 3.4”.
