Offered here is a very fine “cheese box” style wooden canteen. The body is painted black, with three black leather straps nailed to the rim to hold a shoulder strap. This canteen is without its stopper or strap.

“M.S.” is painted in light red/orange on top of “U.S.” on one face. Initials “C.H.” is carved on the reverse face. Measures approximately 7” in diameter x 2.7” thick.
