Pattern 1858 smooth side canteen with pewter spout as made by the New York Depot.
The body of the canteen is in good condition overall. Both sides show a single large dent in the middle from use.
All three sling keepers are present, one pierced for stopper chain. Pewter spout with initials “TP” carved in.
No cloth cover, no sling.
