Pattern 1858 smooth side canteen with tin spout as made by the Cincinnati Depot.
The body of the canteen is in good condition overall. Both side show numerous minor dents from use. There is no cloth cover.
Two of the three sling keepers are present. Tin spout with cork stopper jammed in.
Thin leather sling has very nice period look.
