Straps are in very nice condition. Each meas. approx. 4.25 inches long by 1.50 inches wide with a black felt rank field that has held its color well and shows only minor surface wear.

Single border is of heavy gold bullion thread with an inner and outer jaceron border. Rank field holds two bars five-pointed stars made of heavy bullion thread.

Straps are sewn to a blue cloth backing that has oxidized some from age.

The underside of the straps are plain with no backing material.  [ad] [ph:L]
