US CIVIL WAR SINGLE 1ST SERGEANT OF INFANTRY CHEVRON FROM THE COLLECTION OF THE LATE MICHAEL J. McAFEE

$375.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 410-851

Chevron is made of three sky-blue ribbed tape stripes with lozenge at center, sewn to a dark blue wool backing.

Stripes on one side of the chevron show light fading from age, storage or perhaps exposure to the sun. They measure approx. 8.50 x 8.00 inches.

Reverse shows scattered bits of white paper with some residue that looks like dried glue. Evidently the chevron was glued into an album at one time.   [ad] [ph:L]
