Leather sling for .50-70 caliber rifles. Smooth black leather in good condition. Measures approximately 65” long being assembled from sections of two shorter slings. Each piece bears the original maker’s stamp of “W.H. WILKINSON / MAKER / SPRINGFIELD MASS./ US” and an oval sub-inspector’s stamp. Two parts are sewn together. Complete with brass hook on one end, loop sewn on opposite end. No floating loop. Leather is clean and supple and will be the perfect addition to any .50-70 rifle. [jet] [ph:L]
