Offered here is a sling for the M-1841 Mississippi rifle made of white buff leather. In excellent condition. Sling has brass hook riveted and stitched down on one end with a loop sewn on the other. A floating loop is also on the sling. Tooled edges and two sharp and clear stamps: “S.H. YOUNG / & CO. / NEWARK / N.J.” and “R. WHITE / U.S / ORD. DEPT. / SUB INSPECTOR”. Measures approximately 46” long overall. Some light soiling on surface.
It would be hard to find a better specimen for your rifle. [jet][ph:L]
